Updaaaaaate
Feb. 10th, 2009 05:46 pmOKAY. So, the interview - it went really well! I still don't have my hopes up because it's really competitive. She listed the job Friday and got 35 applicants. I know I'm in the top 10 though :3 She liked my answers, she said I interviewed well and I was a great candidate for the job.
Either way, I will get a phonecall. If it's not to hire me, it's to tell me when to show up for volunteer, it's nice to know I'll be around there either way. She also let me know of upcoming jobs that I would be good for, the good one (30 hours a weeek adoption consultant) isn't til August. So they'll keep the application on file.
She also knew who Keith was, which I think scored big points because she liked him. I got to go on a tour of the place, learn about each room, got to see some of the animals, and I don't think she would have spent all that time if she wasn't at least considering me.
Like I said I'll be there either way...I just hope it's the paid way. Also volunteering is only like 3 hours a week...this would be more to be around the critters.
(They have a friendly cat room and a shy cat room, both of which have couches and things since the cats get to roam outside their cages. HOW CUTE IS THAT!!?)
