I was gonna save my posting until I had my zoo pictures off my camera and uploaded. But I feel restless so I decided to type it out xp
Umm..So YEA. I WENT TO THE ZOO SATURDAY. IT WAS FUN.
Keith went with of course. The idea was also to bring Joey and Sarah but they couldn't make it and this weekend was really the last chance to go so Keith and I went by ourselves. The water park wasn't open and it was a bit chilly but we had a great time, we were still rushing to see things as the park closed.
Mmm lions, tigers, and bears :3 They redid the African area. The elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and such all have much more space and a nicer setup. Granby Zoo has always been very nice, but they still improved majorly. The gorillas now have a good outdoor setup...they were indoor only for a few years due to people throwing trash into their original area.
The LIONS. *Droooooooooooooooooooool* We went there at meet the trainer time and the trainer tossed in treats and the big male got up off his ass and I was like "OMG. SEXY. LION." Seriously. I LOVE LIONS. He was so, so cool, that huge mane.
Second to the lions was the TIGERSSSSSSS!!! *Drools more* They got a nice new enclosure as well, very nice and roomy. There was also a little cub...I only saw the cub and mom on the televison though. They have a camera on them in the den. They didn't really come out visible to us. But other tigers were out.
The parrot room was cool too xD What happens is you go in and buy a little thing of nectar for a dollar, and bring it around to these birds, they fly freely in the room. They'll often get right on your hand and drink the nectar. They get silly too..Keith had one climb right up his shoulder and start doing his hair xD At one point he had 4 birds on him. And another got on his head later. Um..one got on me and was real sweet til it decided my ear was a chew toy.
We went in that place twice, once near closing. They were harder to get then because they'd gotten full during the day, but they still came down and Keith and I each had 1 on our heads =D Keith tried to take his off but it flew right back on xD
So much fun. Oh, we went on bumper cars too (they had rides...). I bought a big long stuffed snake (I've always wanted one!!!) and a pink flamingo shot glass xD Um..we stopped at St. Huberts,a good Canadian chain restaurant, on the way out. I almost got a fancy little drink since drinking age is only 19 in Canada. But for some reason I went with cocoa. I kinda regret that now, it looked yummy with orange and pineapple juice. My mom was weirdly all for it too xD
Today I hung out with Keith and Kyle at Matt's...at first I didn't really want to, no reason, I guess I just felt withdrawn. But ti was nice, we went on a walk and all. When we came back we played Guitar Hero and I drew a bit with Curtis. :) Came home, at dinner and watched recorded eps of Slacker Cats, which is kinda fun.
Hmm let's see, how's Kathy tonight? Well, I'm in a pretty pleasant mood. I mean, everything is going okay..right NOW. Not to say it won't all turn to crap in 5 minutes, who ever knows?
I'm trying to mix some things up and try new turns..little ones though. Like last night I found an rp partner...thing was she only had human characters. I was like hmmm...she said her character could work with an anthro but I said what the hell, I'm going to go human for once. I took one of my dragon characters I don't use much and gave him a human form, I mean it makes sense he would have one anyway. And since then I've been having a good time rping and such.
Hmm...I'm going to try and be less emo, that may be a hard thing to do but I'll try. I guess my mindset it just incredibly pessimistic! So when I get bothered, I...REALLY get bothered.
Lately, the thing that bothers me the most is getting called a brat. When it makes sense, sure, but now it gets tossed around. It's whenerver I don't agree or want something inconvenient now. Like when we had plans the other night and Keith wanted to change them so he called me a brat. Hey, we had plans, is it so wrong for me to still want to use them, especially if I was excited? I don't think that's too much to ask for.
Anyway, it's like a theme. "You want something inconvenient? Brat!" "You're not saying the words I want? Brat!" I mean I get called it when I'm expressing a good mood because I'm not slowing down to accompany someone's bad one! I admit I can get furstrated when situations are reversed but I don't call the other person a brat..I just withdraw and emo =D;; Which is no better but you get my point. Why does everyone call me a brat even when I'm not doing anything? Ahhh!!!
Grr...anyway...I guess I have no more to say, which is a shame. SHAME. I'll type more tomorrow. I have more thoughts to put down...er..I always have a ton of thoughts xD;;;
Btw, I could sit here all night and listen to music from the last 2 Xena eps. I mean, the eps are evil but the music is very pretty and kinda relaxing.
